Après-demain finalizes junior financing for a real estate development project in Geneva

This investment aims to complete the acquisition financing of an existing asset and is subordinated to a senior bank financing.

The “Helmi” project will see the transformation of the current site, with the demolition of two commercial buildings to make way for the construction of two residential buildings of high energy performance (HPE). The program will include 55 apartments, equipped with loggias or terraces, as well as underground parking. The project benefits from a privileged geographical location near the lake, international organizations, and downtown Geneva.

“We are pleased to deploy our private debt strategy in Switzerland and to participate in the transformation of the Sécheron district in Geneva,” declares Jean-Philippe Carvaillo, Associate Director Private Equity Direct, Head of Private Debt.

The start of construction is expected in 2026, with an estimated delivery in 2028.

The project is developed by a real estate developer with several emblematic achievements in French-speaking Switzerland. The design has been entrusted to a Geneva-based architectural firm, and marketing is managed by a leading real estate agency in the local market.
